Random pics

Just some random pictures.

He has decided that it's fun to "lay down" in the tub!

My two babies.  How did Zadek get so big?
 Cael's first t-ball game.

I love that she's totally hates this bow.  "What's going on guys?"

 Hair cut time!!
The splash park is so much fun!!

Senedra Doreen Thompson

Senedra was born on June 15 2012.  She was 8 pounds 8 oz and 20 inches long.  Not too bad for being 2 weeks early!  I was induced but was already having contractions every 6 minutes and dilated to a 3 when we got to the hospital on Friday morning.  The Dr broke my water at about 8:50 and then they started my pitocin drip.  At about 10:30 I decided to start the epidural.  I was glad that I did because they had 6 other people in labor and when the nurse came back she's like there's a line and everyone is waiting now.  I was at a 7 at 12:45 and then by 1pm I was fully dilated and after 3 pushes our little girl joined the family.  She was born at 1:15.  The boys of course love her to death and Zadek kept saying "Mine baby" and didn't want anyone else to get a turn to hold her.

This is Ryan writing her name in Hieroglyphics.  In Egyptian Senendra means "May God Protect Her"
The first pictures.  She was sooooooo swollen.  Partially because she came out with her face facing upwards instead of down.  Look at those lips:)

Zadek 2 Year Stats

Ryan took Z to his 2 year well visit today.  Here are his stats:

Height:  33 1/2 in            24%
Weight:  25.2 lbs             15%
Head:     49  (I think cm)  50%

So overall definitely our smallest baby.  When Javin was this age he was off the charts on height and 25% on weight and Cael was 90% on height and weight.

Bedrest

So, the day after Caellum's graduation I was lucky enough to get confined to my bed until this little girl gets here.  I was so glad that I got to go to his graduation first.  I'm so grateful for a wonderful husband who has taken over all of the chores and for a great ward for bringing in food and for a wonderful mom and mother in law for taking the kids.  You don't really realize how much has to be done until you can't do it anymore.  Hopefully she'll be here in the next week or so and be healthy.  I think being on bedrest is going to make me so grateful to get up and do things again and I'm so excited to see what our little girl will look like.  Since none of my boys look a like it will be interesting to see what new addition we're going to be bringing home.  While I've been on bedrest I've had to go to the hospital 2 times a week for non stress tests and labs and then still go to my weekly appointments with the Dr.  The nurses in labor and delivery remember my name and usually wave when I get there.  If the baby hasn't come by June 15th they will induce me so at least there's light at the end of the tunnel.  3 weeks is a long time to be on bedrest and I'm sure everyone will be glad to get back to normal.  Especially my neighbor kids who are here all the time wondering where Javin and Cael are.

Caellum graduates preschool

Caellum has been doing preschool through the school district this year.  He started in Alpine but we transferred him to Saratoga Springs when we moved to Lehi.  He has made a lot of friends and has had a lot of fun.  This picture is of him waiting to start his graduation.
Each child had a part that they had memorized and then they sat in their order while they waited.  Caellum was super nervous to do his part but was one of the only ones who actually didn't need the teachers help.  He's so smart!!

After their little program they got their graduation hats on.  I think he's so cute with his hands in his pockets all the time.
This is a picture of Cael with his teacher.  She was super good with the kids.
Caellum has wanted to go to school and ride a bus ever since Javin started school.  It's been a long wait and I sure hope he thinks kindergarten is as awesome as he had been imagining.  I can't believe how much he has grown up and I'm so glad he's starting to come out of his shell and do things on his own.  I have great kids!!

Zadek turns 2

Can you believe my little one is 2?!?  IT's sort of crazy to me.  I guess it's only fitting that he have 2 parties.   We kept telling him he was going to have a party and practicing saying that he was 2 but I don't really think he understood what presents and a party meant until after we had the party.

Thompsons always do heavy heavy hang over... At first I don't think he got the hanging over his head but it resulted in a present after so it was awesome!!  I love the look on his face like what's going on!
By the time the second party hit he was more aware of what was to come.

I just love this picture of him smiling.  It's pretty much how he is all the time.
He did a pretty good job this year of actually eating his cake.  I think dad might have helped a little bit just to make sure that the majority went in his mouth!

Zadek is still crazy and totally fun.  He's getting so smart and loves to tell everyone what to do.  Some of his favorite things are playing with his brothers, going to the park and playing ball.  He's super funny and always lights up the room with his smiles!  What would we ever do without him.

ITS A GIRL

So this pregnancy I have just been convinced that we are having another boy. The entire time I'd actually been calling the baby him. I've never done that before. I even decided that we didn't need to even find out this pregnancy we could just wait until he was born that's how sure I was. Then Ryan and I decided we should look at girl names just in case and then the arguing began. So, finally I decided rather than argue about it since it was going to be a boy anyway, we should just go find out. So to the mall we went. And guess what. GIRL!!! I don't think we really believed the tech and Ryan who has to make sure of things (I usually have to take 3 pregnancy tests before he believes it) asks how sure are you. So the tech looks from many angles. First he says I'm %100 sure. Then he keeps looking and by the end says I am %300 sure that this is a girl. He keeps saying aren't you excited but I think we were just both in shock and I kept calling her a him for a few more days. So at my last Dr. appointment I was 19 weeks and asked if they could peek at the gender for me and I was fully expecting them to say boy but she was still a girl. So we're adding a sweet little girl to the ranks of all things boy. This crazy house is either going to kill her or turn a little gentler to make room for a girl. I kind of think she's going to have a rough go of it and will need to learn to defend herself from the the flying balls, swords, and so forth fast if she plans on surviving.
Anyway, we're excited and I'm excited to pick out little girl clothes.
