HE DID IT

For months now Javin has been working on getting 20 stickers in a row from school.  He's almost done is twice.  But alas, has not succeeded!  Well, the wait is over.  He DID IT!!  So, to celebrate and let him know how awesome we think he is I am going to check him out early from school tomorrow and take him to see Monsters vs Aliens, just the two of us.  Now the count is on for thirty and he wishes that he had 29 right now so that he could get 30 tomorrow!  YEAH JAVIN!!

On a side note, we had a great Easter.  I have a few pictures of coloring the eggs and such that I will get on here after Ryan decides how to do that.  Apparently with a new computer comes all kind of new things that you have to have.  For those of you who don't know the old computer finally gave in.  I think it was about a year and a half ago that the repair shop told us we should just call a lemon a lemon if we have one.  Glad it lasted as long as it did but I don't know how to use this one yet.  

WE had a great Easter and the Easter Bunny left us fun things on Saturday this year.  I like to do that so that on Sunday I don't have to worry about the chaos of Easter right before church and getting ready and I also wanted to be able to leave Sunday so that we could celebrate the true meaning of Easter and what it's really about.  But, this year I had to get creative as for the reason that the Easter Bunny was going to come to our house on Saturday since I have one child who believes and one not old enough to understand. So I told Javin that the Easter Bunny isn't as magic as Santa so he can't get to everyone's houses in just one night but that he had to take two to do everyone.  This explanation seemed to appease Javin and then it was exciting to try and figure out which day he would come.  Lucky for me it was Saturday so that I could just relax and enjoy Easter on Sunday.  Javin gave our family night on Christ's Resurrection and it was a great day!!  I will have Ry teach me the basics of the computer tonight and then get some pictures up soon.  Happy Easter everyone (just a little late)

PS:  We had a great Spring Break and were glad when the Master's were finally over so that we could actually go somewhere without all the traffic of the golf course.  I did like calling dad  though and rubbing it in that I could actually hear the cheering from hole 10 (I think that's the one we decided we could hear)  Anyway, it was fun to have Javin home but glad to see him back at school and on schedule again!
