Senedra is 4 months old!!

OK I don't know how this happened but my little angel is already 4 months old.  She is super fun and is rolling over.  She tries to grab everything and is thoroughly entertained by her crazy older brothers.  She is such a doll and we just love her!!

Her stats:
Weight:  14 lbs 7 oz  66%
Height:  25 1/2 in  90%
Head:  40.7 cm  39%

So she's still growing.  Her weight has dropped a little bit but her height has gone up so she's growing beautifully and still has no symptoms of her heart defect :)

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL etc..

So Javin informed me this year that he is too old for me to walk to the bus stop on the first day of school with him.  So I waved from our window as I watched all of the other moms and dads walk to the bus stop with their kids.  These pictures come courtesy of Caellum's first day of school.  Since he is kindergarten he goes to the bus without Javin but comes home at the same time so when I picked him up on his first day I made Javin also pose.

Caellum and Ashton waiting for the bus!!
He was so excited!!  HE has been wanting to ride the bus since he was 2 and Javin started school.  IT only took 3 more years but here he is.
Just before school started, Ryan had some time off of work so we took the kids to the zoo.  It was a lot of fun!
Just because she's CUTE!!
And just because he's CRAZY!!
Javin was excited to be on our neighbor Nathan's soccer team this year.  It was fun to carpool and have a friend on the same team!

Senedra's 2 month stats

Can you believe she's 2 months old?!?
Time has sure flown.  We went to Senedra's 2 month well visit and she is definately growing!  Sometimes I look at her and tell her to stop and then I remember that she has her sad heart and I actually need her to grow because if she stops it's a bad sign.  Well, she's still growing that's for sure!!
So here are her stats:

Weight:  11 pounds 8 oz    67%
Length:  23.5 inches   87%
Head:  39 cm    56%

She's so stinking cute.

Say CHEESE

These are the times we say cheese or do we..........

Zadek had to get in on the picture taking.  Don't you love that he has a phone instead of a camera.  Also I love the picture of Senedra here she's too busy watching Zadek right next to her to look at me..
 And a random FROWN

Javin's 9

I can't believe Javin is 9!!  Javin is such a fun kid.  He is making jokes all the time.  He is so helpful with his younger brothers and sister.  He always wants to help me!!  Javin is becoming a great reader and loves to read.  He also has been biking a lot lately.  One of his favorite things to do is play video games and he also loves playing with his friends.  We're so lucky to have such a good kid and we love you Javin!!

Dress Up

The kids have been playing dress up like crazy lately.  They come up with some crazy combinations sometimes.  I love that Z is a pirate batman.
This is the boys with their friend Matt.  They were calling themselves the fighting ninjas.
This devil costume makes me laugh so hard because Zadek thinks it's a chicken costume.  He calls it that because of the black wings on the back.  Haha!!
Here's a just because.  Everyone should have the classic dad photo.  I think every dad in history has fallen asleep with the little one on their chest.  Aren't they both so cute!!

2 weeks old

Senedra went in for her 2 week appointment.  Here are her stats:
Height: 21.5 inches.   85 %
Weight:  9 pounds 5 oz   76%
Head:  36cm   44%
So they like them to be back up to their birth rate by the time that they come to their 2 week appointment and we more than surpassed that expectation.  She is definitely eating and growing:)
While at her appointment the Dr said "Did they tell you in the hospital that she has a heart murmur?" No. no they did not.  News to me.  They ended up keeping me at the Dr. for quite awhile, while they took vitals and determined whether or not I would be going to see a pediatric cardiologist or the hospital.  Her vitals came back OK so I ended up being referred to a specialist.  We went the next day to the specialist where they performed multiple tests and determined that she has VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect)  It needs to be closed.  Because of the size of the hole in her heart the Dr couldn't tell us if it would close on it's own or if she'd need surgery.  For now we have a list of symptoms to watch for and another appointment in a month.  Best case scenario: Hole closes on it's own and we're good to go.  Worst case scenario:  The hole doesn't close, she needs medications and then at 6 months or so they do open heart surgery to close the hole.  For now, we watch and wait.  Poor little girl!
